The Aquaparque de la Caña, reaches 42 years of existence, being a symbol of calenity and vallecaucan pride.
Since July 3, 1983, the Acuaparque de la Caña opened its doors and quickly became the main tourist attraction and reference for the Colombian south-west, recognized mainly for having built the first wave pool in Colombia.
The Acuaparque, the leader of recreation in Santiago de Cali, continues to generate, among the people who visit him, memorable moments of fun and cultural tradition. Users can enjoy the 156 thousand square meters of extension, making use of 3 different swimming pools, extreme and traditional slides, tarzaneras, tree area and 300 meters of slow river.
In its 42 years, it is ratified as one of the dynamics of the tourism and entertainment industry of Valle del Cauca, generating family experiences and work opportunities for the sustainability of the region, becoming the engine for the development of the city.
On Saturday, July 26, the Corporation for People's Recreation, CRP, will have a special day, celebrating the birthday of its iconic Acuaparque de la Caña with a day of activities for the entire community.
From 9: 00 in the morning, the Aquaparque de la Caña will open its doors for the 42-year-old celebration with the Caleña families and visitors. Initially a liturgical ceremony will be held with the collaborators, then a program that includes riffles, bingos, gifts and a special discount on the entrance fee for visitors.
